Wouldn't mind knowing how others have theirs set up as well.
Any links to other sites with good info would also be appreciated.

I do have one question. How do I keep the focus point small on the EM1. I knew the workaround for the EM5 but understood you could keep the focus point small on the EM1. Can't seem to find it in the menu.

    Much appreciated.

On the E-M1 hit F1 then info and then you use the 4 way left/right /up down to adjust the size

One axis is AF size the other is face detect mode
I don't have the camera here to check which

I must be doing something wrong as that doesn't seem to work for me.
I want the point to stay small all the time which is something I understood could be done with this camera and not having to push buttons to bring it back each time I change from M to A etc.

When I push F1 it brings up a grid. Doesn't do anything if I push the info button. Even tried pushing them at the same time. Nothing.

OK, it works but only after I had touched the screen. Which makes it small anyway.
How do it make it stay as the smallest size all the time without having to do a workaround?

***** Think I have worked it out. Had to do it through the viewfinder.

After you press the Info button the icons in the lower left of the scren should change - use the rear dial to cycle through the options. One of those options should be a [.]s, then just click the OK button.

I am evaluating the EM-1, having been a heavy EM-5 user (upgrading because a relative took away my EM-5!!!! :D ).

IMO there are LOTS of new settings and things to get used too. To me about half an hour to set the menu to where it was comfortably close to my EM-5 settings. Right now, I am setting ISO on function button 1, DOF preview on button 2, magnify and peaking on the buttons left of the lens.

so what have you set the lever to if you've put ISO on the Fn 1 button?
