Based on my research, I've opted for an Olympus E-PM2 as a backup and small camera to compliment my OMD

So far, I've only found pricing to be around 499 with the kit lens (adorama, bh video, amazon). I'm hoping to find one for less money - any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

I have a mint condition E-PM2 for sale. Check out my thread on the Buy/Sale forum.

    Sent from LG Optimus Phablet.

You should check ebay. There are authorized sellers still selling for the instant rebate price of $424. 17th Street Photo does for sure...

Thanks, I've been poking around in there and I'll continue. Perhaps when Memorial day hits, I'll see some discounts come my way ;)

Just purchased a E-PM2 with 14-42mm lens from amazon for $299 from a company called Products Fulfillment. I emailed them first and they said they are an authorized dealer and the cameras are 100% new and sealed. They also offer a 10 day return policy if you change your mind. We'll see when i get it.

Do you even believe that? Scam like that is very common.

Look at Cameta Camera at their refurbs. Beautiful cameras, I bought an EPL2 last year and it basically was a new camera.

I buy refurbished stuff from from Cameta, and it's worked out well. Do remember, however, that they sell stuff fixed by the OEM and sometimes the OEM doesn't check it out as well as they might. A number of E-PM1s were sold that couldn't keep time and date when you changed the battery. Cameta always took theses back, of course, so they're OK in my book.
