I have just taken a risk at what seems to be my usual bargain price of £5 and gotten a Bell and Howell 135mm f2.8 with intergral hood! It says, as I suspected it would, that it is made in Japan and as I already have a Pentax 'K' adapter for the odd lens, it won't cost me any more. What can anybody tell me about these lenses sold under licence as B&H? Who in Japan made them? Are the as good as most other medium budget lenses or is this one just a door-stopper that just cost me £5? Could be that it is at least as good as the old Canon FL fit Hanimex one, just lighter and smaller, and therefore set to replace it in my bag!
