Gorgeous shot! love gazing at a quiet lake.
Wondering, how is the color version?
Thank you, glad you like it.
Here is the original version. Very minimal processing.

Awesome view! I thought I would prefer the color shot, but the colors seem a bit muted and I find that I prefer the B&W.
Yes, I'm jealous....
Agreed. the B&W one does work better for this one.
That is a nice shot. I was blown away the second the screen appeared!
i am so partial to BW landscapes...good shot
Indeed looks much better in BW, maybe it's color balance, too much blue on a sunny day...
Better in B&W but if you worked on the color it would likely be equally beautiful.
Thank you all for the kind comments.
I tried working the colors, but zettapixel is correct in my opinion.Too much sun light - I believe I took this picture around 11 am.
If anyone wants to give it a go, let me know and I will send you the raw version. After all, I have a long way to go and need to learn as much as possible.

What a stunningly peaceful view,a great way to start a stress free day.
Hope you feel rejuvenated and will soon be sharing your other images with us soon.
I also prefer the B&W, but... I would not have noticed that teeny bit of blue roof that mirrors the sky. And it does give you sense of scale of how big the landscape is (or how small we humans are). Interesting bit, for me.
Thank you Ian - means a lot coming from you. While I don't need a pat on the back, I want to learn and like to receive comments. To me every comment is positive, because I learn from it.
The above pictures were taken with the 60mm 2.8.
Here is one a day later at 7mm pretty much the same spot. Not sure what to do with the upper left corner. Will do for now.

Thank you Hyubie for your comment. You are right about the color version. I even had to look to see what blue roof.
