Two bees or not two bees.

Looks like the bee on the left is an Andrena species, so yes, still two bees Lovely photo!

Possibly the UK’s smallest bees, hopefully they are bees!? I hope our resident experts will comment.

Those are both bees. First one is an Andrena species I think, the bottom one seems to me a Lassioglossum. There are smaller ones though, like the Ceratina species below!

Hah - bee careful, the little knowledge I have goes a long way to confusing both me and people I try to help, lol. I am much more a chaser with a camera of things with wings rather than an expert of any sort. I am good at excuses and waffling, though, so can always help with those

Of course, like anyone from Alderney, I consider myself an expert at ormering though. I do miss them. sigh

Caught red-handed in the heinous act of "nectar robbing".

Some bees and hummingbirds have adapted to cut holes in the base of fuchsia flowers as an easier route to the nectar.
