Probably the biggest factor in the success or failure of local agricultural production is the job carried out by these unsung little migrant workers. Honey bees are brought in by the millions to work the fields which will produce world class cherry and grape crops. In addition, they provide the area with a little produce of their own in the form of honey and beeswax.
Here, honey bee boxes serve as bee central for the tireless workers. These boxes can be seen on just about any farm in the area and can bee heard from a surprising distance away.
