    My mother was born & raised in Fall River Mass. I spent part of my childhood there in the 60s/70s visiting my grandparents. Lots of memories brought back by seeing these photos!

    Thanks for sharing a couple of most interesting images.

    I prefer the composition of the second, because I feel it gives much better emphasis to the power of the ship and the contrast of the new peaceful power station chimneys with the old belligerent ship adds something.

    But I much prefer the color of the first image - that cold grey is just right for the subject.
