    Wonderful shots. My grandfather helped lay the deck on the Iowa and several other battleships.

    Replacing and repairing the wooden decks on IOWA and NEW JERSEY brought me back to active duty in 1982. Amazing ships and firepower. IOWA is starting to look like it did 20 years ago. Thanks for sharing the photos.
