Baseball Downunder - State competition - C&C please (image heavy)

Approached one of the local Baseball clubs to do some photography of the games and attended the first grade match today.
Camera OMD-EM1, primary lens the 4/3 70-300, some images were taken with the Canon 85-300 FD and without looking at exif data not sure which is which.
All images OOC jpg 2560 or 1280, no crops or processing prior to upload.
It was bright and sunny allowing some nice higher shutter speeds.

Would appreciate any comments, as this is the first sports i've shot for years and the first time for baseball.

First, please # this many images...I'd crop most of the pictures w/ the batter portrait...the one w/ the ump and catcher, I'd crop out the part of the batter. The one w/ the pitcher almost to the left edge of the frame, if you don't have more room for him to the left, I'd toss in favor of the 2nd pitcher shot.

I agree on cropping most in some fashion, I'm keen to understand the initial framing ie.. as you said more room to the left of the picture for the pitcher, in reviewing them I felt a lot ended up to tight.
