    These little fellows (a mating pair we assume), have taken our attention hostage over the last few days. We don't know how they got here but we hope they stick around (and our dogs don't catch them). So far the dogs have walked within a foot of the frogs without finding them or scaring them into the pond.

    We had a few of these in our little (apx 4' across) pond, until last weekend. I think a period of heavy rain allowed them to migrate to less crowded quarters. Meanwhile, there are a number of large tadpoles ready to take their place. I guess our pond is a nursery.
