Back for Fall Color

    Just got back from a 4-day trip to the Sierra's. It rained, it snowed over 6 inches, hit hailed, and it snowed some more. The fall color was at it's best and our tent worked keeping us warm and dry. More pictures on my Flickr.

    Fall color

    Brilliant photos--really super sharp detail. Were they hand held or tripod-mounted? What lens did you use for these?

    OH MY! Sorry for the delay in answering..The camera a Panasonic GF1 Lens..the Panasonic 14-45mm. All pics taken hand held..

    Woooow great shots 2 and 3 are my favorites. But all are great.

    The third one had a lot of beautiful points.
    The mountain in the background, the water, and that wood that looks a lot like animal (elephant?) skin.
