Just got back from a 4-day trip to the Sierra's. It rained, it snowed over 6 inches, hit hailed, and it snowed some more. The fall color was at it's best and our tent worked keeping us warm and dry. More pictures on my Flickr.

Fall color

Brilliant photos--really super sharp detail. Were they hand held or tripod-mounted? What lens did you use for these?

The third one had a lot of beautiful points.
The mountain in the background, the water, and that wood that looks a lot like animal (elephant?) skin.

Love it :D
