B&W - boats

    Nice! I really like the contrast in the second. The third looks a bit hazy to me. :cool:

    Thanks! Yes the third is a bit strange, it was raining and I thought some added grain would complement the atmosphere, but obviously it did not...

    I like the really like the first one. Too bad the boat wasn't in a better spot for better composition.

    I like the second the best, great contrast and composition. I love the light reflecting on the water in the first one but I don't like that the horizon is almost perfectly centered. The third one is way too gray for my taste. The first and third also seem to lack subject. I know the boat is the subject but because they are so small on a very big background they get lost. With a tighter crop I think both would work much better.

    The second one has a real other-worldly quality about it. It really makes me sit up and say "what the...?"
