If I earned US dollars and had them to spend I'd be mildly interested in a couple things. But given the banana republic level of the Canadian dollar vs. the US dollar, everything on my list is still too expensive. I'd just be happy if today were Thanksgiving here so I could get away from work and go use the equipment I already have. :)

I think there are some pretty good deals but nothing you couldn't get a week ago for the same price

Adorama has the Panny G7 with 14-42mm kit lens for $597 plus a $100 Adorama gift card. This camera has 4k video recording etc. and is basically a GH4-lite, so that is a great price. Good choice as a second body or for someone looking to start with MFT.

The one I picked up at best buy was an Ultra Plus, despite their ad only being the Ultra.
    Amazon also only says Ultra.

Not sure if there's much difference, but the write speeds aren't marked on either package.

I got it more for backups while traveling than for speed, but best buy did also have a 128gb 95MB/s read, 90MB/s write Sandisk SD card which seemed to be ~$55... only 2 in stock here.

    Hi,
    Here's what was advertised:
    Best Buy Weekly Ad
    SanDisk - Ultra 128GB microSDXC Class 10 Memory Card - Gray/Red

The Ultra in the ad/site is 48MB/s according to the site, BUT the one I got in store is 'Ultra Plus', 80MB/s read. (Part # sdsqunc-128g-ancma; see pics attached below)

Note: A lot of the SanDisk cards in store had different UPC codes than what was labeled on the shelves, but I had an employee do price lookups on several and the prices matched.
Also, they had cards in two places in the store, with different selections in each.

Sandisk's web site seems to be out of date as the Ultra Plus microSDXC cards there are all listed at 48MB/s:
    SanDisk Ultra PLUS microSDXC

B&H has a Ultra (not Plus) listed at 80MB/s read / 10MB/s min. write, on sale for $39.99:
SanDisk 128GB microSDXC Memory Card Ultra SDSQUNC-128G-AN6IA B&H

I'm copying some videos to the new card using a AFT USB3 card reader; it's averaging 15.3MB/s... disappointing, but I'm mainly going to be using this for backups.
    Read speeds are averaging 87MB/s.
