Very cool. I'm going to try very hard to catch the the CAF tour in 2014 and take a ride. I just haven't decided which plane.
Hope you ride a plane next year. Although the ride is quite expensive, it's going to be a very nice experience.
Have you taken a ride? If so, which plane?
Wasn't able to take a ride. I just heard from a friend that the B-17G was in town on the same day. It seems like you need to book in advance if you are planning to take a ride.
My Dad was a navigator in a B-17. 25 years? ago there was a B-17 at a local airport and we went up in it.

An untold amount of history here - you've captured it well!
It's always a hit whenever such piece of history visits a place/ town.
