Thanks! I always think it's funny that I got into m43 for it's small size and ended up falling in love with some of the bigger cameras (E1) and lenses of the system. :)  But they just have a certain character to them that I really appreciate.

Would you elaborate on your post processing approach? Does it take much (or anything!) to achieve the results we see here?

It depends :)  It can be very easy - or sometimes quite involved.
I've been trying many things over the last 5 years of m43 and haven't found a "one size fits all" solution for me :)

    1) I shoot raw and jpeg. If I like the jpg I either use the jpg straight away - or convert with Olympus Viewer 3 to get a tiff file. The only settings I change is setting noise reduction to 'low' and sharpening to 'low' or 'off'.
    2) If I like the colours of the Olympus jpg, but need to recover some shadows or highlights (something you can't do in OV3) I convert in Lightroom - which matches the Olympus colour profiles quite well, and does an excellent job at shadow/highlight recovery.
    3) Last case scenario, if I'm unhappy with the colours or need nice detail, I convert in Capture One 11. Which doesn't match the Olympus colours very well, doesn't do as good a job in shadows/highlights as Lightroom, but has it's own beautiful colours and is simply really good at raw conversion.

In all cases of raw conversion I have noise reduction and sharpening on "low" or "off". If necessary those are done in Photoshop with Neatimage and Nik Output Sharpener.
The only other constant is Nik's "Pro Contrast" plugin (Nik Color Efx Pro), which does a wonderful job in boosting contrast in a natural way - and provides a slider to remove colour casts...

Now that I wrote it down it appears to be more elaborate than I thought :-D On the other hand, I'm not doing a lot of local adjustments, just sticking to the basic controls (WB, exposure, …) and a few tools that I've been using for a long time.

    Amazing shots!
I have been out in the woods as well this weekend and I struggled to find subjects and compostions. While looking at your pictures I keep thinking: why did I not see that?... Truly lovely images
