When I zoom in and out while recording video using the Olympus 40-150mm R lens, it produces audible noise in the video. Is that normal?

Yes. Use an external microphone. If you have an Olympus body you can get the EMA-1 mic adapter to use any 3.5mm stereo microphone. If you have a Panasonic, then whether or not you can use an external mic will depend on which body you purchased, and if you do have the capability then you will probably have a 2.5mm plug which would require an adapter to fit the more standard 3.5mm microphones.
