After years of my wife trying to get me to go on a cruise, I finally agreed last November. It was a very short one, as I easily get seasick and didn't want to be stuck on a ship for days and days if it turned out I got sick. Anyway, we had a day in the Bahamas and took a tour of Atlantis. Here are a few shots of the sea life.

Well I'll be damned....a shark with a chain saw!

Nice set. I've been hearing this nagging voice in my head that keeps telling me to buy a polarizer and head to a local aquarium for some time now. I should listen to it.

    Cool shots...
I'll throw two of mine up from a recent trip the Camden Aquarium in NJ.
I don't want to hijack your thread...just add some more pics.
    Shot with a G5 and 14-42.
The shark tunnel was the coolest thing...I have some wild video from there.

No hijacking at all. All should feel free to post any pictures they have. I struggled a bit getting pictures I was happy with. Still learning the camera a bit and wanting to get a certain look which wasn't happening often.

It was a Royal Caribbean cruise and it was ok. I am not the cruise junkie so many are. Honestly, people rave over the food, I didn't think it was anything special. I would much rather be in the port of calls than on the ship. And one day we had really rough seas and I did feel a bit seasick. I like wandering around in new cities/areas. My favorite vacations are my motorcycle trips to the mountains, just enjoying the scenery and the ride. But my wife doesn't want to do long trips on the back of the bike and so I take those trips alone or with my buddies. I'll probably do another cruise with her, but it will be more for the time spent with her than the cruise itself.
