A few from today at Jersey zoo. A lot of work is done here for endangered species, many of which are released back into their native habitat.
All taken with Omd em10ii and 75-300 ii

Friday I went to Blijdorp zoo in Rotterdam, Netherlands with an acquaintance who is a biologist specializing in animal behavior. Interesting to say the least. The first picture is my personal favorite, the second picture is his favorite.

These were taken with my Olympus E-M1 mark II and a Minolta MD 200mm 4.0 ("MDIII" version) at f5.6.

Nice picture of that Lynx! In my limited experience, getting a good picture of a cat in a zoo is not easy with them tending to be reclusive.

Regards, C.

Taken at the WNC Nature center in Asheville NC. All but the turtle were taken through a some form of fencing in the front if you notice some odd out of focus artifacts.

At Werribee Open Range zoo, Victoria. Vervet monkey through 1" thick glass. Less than spotlessly clean ... ;) .
