    Hi,

I have an E-PL1 on order and was browsing for lens.

Two interesting lens, I found, are:
    - Electrophysics / Astroscope 25mm f0.95
    - Navitron 50mm f0.95

The former sells for $448 at B&H and Adorama. The latter is listed for $1500 on ebay. Unfortunately, I could not find any reviews to justify their costs. Has anyone tried either lens and what might be a fair value for them? (while we wait for Nokton 25mm to be available again)

    Thanks!

a bit of googling reveals these seem to be specialist-application (video/CCTV/night-vision) lenses; the Navitron appears to have a 54mm thread mount and probably can't be easily adapted for m43 use, while the Astroscope appears to be a C-mount and so probably can; whether their performance for general photography justifies the high cost is another matter ... you can probably find a more easily adaptable f/1.2 or f/1.4 lens, designed for general photography, for much much less money on eBay, unless you must absolutely have the fastest lens ...

That's $2k for the two lenses.

I would expect you would get much better image quality with a Voigtlander 25mm f/0.95 which is a native MFT lens and a Voigtlander 50mm f/1.1 in M mount with an adapter. Total cost is about the same.

The Voigtlander 25mm f/0.95 is an outstanding lens and quite frankly, excellent value for money. Here is a review of the lens... Voigtlander 25mm review at Luminous Landscape

Sorry, let me clarify that I have no intention of paying $1500 for the Navitron :)  I am just curious about quality and fair price so that if I do find another sample elsewhere, I can judge what to pay for it or not.

    Thanks for your responses.
