I'd love to hear your thoughts on some of these. They were shot on both my Canon 60D, and my little GX1 with the kit powerzoom lens.

    DMC-GX1    LUMIX G VARIO PZ 14-42/F3.5-5.6    14mm    f/3.5    1/4000s    ISO 160

    DMC-GX1    LUMIX G VARIO PZ 14-42/F3.5-5.6    14mm    f/3.5    1/60s    ISO 800

That pic was actually shot using this ridiculous rig (pardon the camera phone pic):

    Canon EOS 60D    30mm    30mm    f/5.0    1/2500s    ISO 400

    Canon EOS 60D    10-20mm    20mm    f/9.0    1/5s    ISO 800

    More to be found here:
    Monochromatic Dreams.

Just a warning, expect a few personal posts that are completely unrelated to photography, such as mental illness and Rubik's Cubes. :p

Hey Brodie! I'm liking your black and white tones, nice shiny black feel.

It took me awhile to figure out what this pic was. For the first 30 seconds I thought it was the back of a womans head at the hairdressers!

    Where are you from BTW?

I'm about an hour north of Tamworth in NSW, but I'm in Sydney four or five times a year.

That little dude is a Griffon Bruxellois dog who desperately needs a haircut.

I agree with ICONINDUSTRIES. Very nice tone in all . And I especially like the image of the man sitting at the water's edge. Great composition, tone and it suggests a hundred different interpretations -exactly what I like in a photo.

    Thank you :)

    A few new ones:
    Canon EOS 60D    24-70mm    56mm    f/2.8    1/8000s    ISO 100

    DMC-GX1    LUMIX G VARIO PZ 14-42/F3.5-5.6    14mm    f/5.6    1/500s    ISO 160

    Again, straight off the blog.

I really like this photo as well as the wide shot. Very well done.
