I got an e-pm1 this weekend.
Set it up to shoot raw/Jf.

Can i just shoot normally and add an Art Filter in post?
Or does it have to be added to the jpg when shot?

Isn't there an Olympus RAW converter?
    Only received a viewer disc.

On that subject. What is best raw converter for the Olympus raw file?

First time m43 and Olympus user

    Thanks

You can go to the Oly website and download software from it.

    Congrats on the new camera!

Olympus ib is the name of the software, and it will read the raw, replicate in-camera processing including art filters. As for the 'best' RAW converter, I'm leaning Adobe Camera Raw as found in Lightroom 3.5 RC.

    Congrats on your new camera!

You can add the art filters in-post, as long as you have the RAW file. You can do it either in-camera, or on the computer using Olympus software (I use Olympus Viewer 2). The computer software is slightly better - it gives you more options for the art filters.

downloaded Master 2, as I'm a MAC person and ib is pc only.

Is there a big difference ?

Ok, so Olympus Master 2 crashes every time I try to save a file ???
    This normal ?

Also, can't seem to find the ART filters to apply to a raw file there ?
