Stripped out my plastic adapter, which had been on the Cintar. Looking at possibly modding a Konica AR adapter, which has almost exactly the same registration distance as the C3. Anyone know where to pick up some Konica AR body caps? :)

On the Oly. Came with shade and lenscap. Thrift find, with a C3.

There is...?

Very cool. Would love to see some samples taken with it.

I may be wrong, but I think the top image IS taken by this lens? But sure, I also would like to see some pics taken outside, of veges or whatever.

Couple more. Hand-held, while holding the lens in the stripped adapter, so not as sharp as they could be. :)

Nice, Red! I'll try to track down one of those C3 extension tubes, probably not easy to find.

I used an 8mm M39 (from a russian tube set) and a 4mm Argus tube from Accura (?) - Extension Tube Set C-3...

Wow that tube set looks nice . I agree with chicks, I think it would be hard to find any tube set. I have never seen one myself.. And I am always on the look out for accessories for my C-3 camera. That reminds me .. Its High time I dig out one of my C-3's, load some film up in it and go out to shoot a roll.

Red -Sweet grouping of Argus'

I agree .. Sweet indeed..
I like the red one allot. Probably a leatherette kit from cameraleather.com?
I forgot about being able to recovering them with new leatherette..
I have 3 of them; All black and one has a pretty rough looking leatherette but works the best mechanically.

I love the size of that lens: very compact! :yahoo:
First test shots for bokeh render: straight out of the camera Jpegs, no edit, wide open at f4.5
Very flat light and slow shutter speed... hmm maybe a tad of camera shake? I think the lens (and I) can do better
I have high hopes for this lens :)

Sure! But is it kayak proof?
don't know... but really nothing is, not in my experience with Olympus or Panasonic compact "waterproof" cameras; they all died from a premature death with salt water :-(
What has proven to be kayak worthy is a compact camera INSIDE a case; a compact Canon and the legendary GoPro have worked for years, regularly submerged on my outings.

After killing 6 (!) "waterproof" camera I have come to the conclusion that in my book any camera that has an exposed "shell" to the salt water will not work for long.

a test on a very bleak day (for Queensland): overcast and flat light.
I did an infinity test comparison with the Tele-Sandmar 100 and the Cintagon 100mm
OOC, no edit, just crops from 100% view

Interesting to see that the tiny Sandmar is holding up well against the Cintagon, a lens that I find sufficiently sharp and easy to use.
I need a sunny day to see how it handles contrasty scenes...
