I use my Olympus E-M5 with 12-50kit,when I shoot JPG file ,I found the file is about 9-10MB,but when I shoot RAW file, I found my ORF file is only 13.5MB. I feel so confused about this. In my opinion,I think ORF file should be much bigger than JPG file becase we all know the RAW file include more abundant information than JPG file
so,are there anything wrong with my camera? :hmmm:

    Nothing wrong.

The RAW is compressed (losslessly) - the uncompressed size is around 72MB. The JPEG in fact has far less data - it's just a different compression scheme, with things such as color balance and sharpening already baked in. A very high quality 16MP JPEG can be as small as 3 or 4MB, but for whatever reasons Olympus has a very low compression option (called 'Super Fine') which makes them as big as 10MB.
