Astounding photo Seahawk and the first thing that came in to my head was the tune "Oh I do love to be beside the seaside".
Although that tune is really associated with the Wurlitzer Organ at the Blackpool Tower theatre. :whistling:
But isn't it amazing that a photograph can stimulate all sorts of memories?

I was amazed to find this old building amongst the shops on Cirencester's High Street.
While most of the town's building are constructed from the local Cotswold stone with modern street frontages, this one harks back to the Tudor period. (Only had my Moto E phone with me, so apologies for the quality).

And directly opposite is a building definitely from a different architectural period!

This gorgeous building is called "The Rib" and is located adjacent to Wells Cathedral.
Although much altered, parts of it may still date from its origins in the 14th Century, when it was erected as one of the many 'canonical' properties associated with the cathedral. Any literary folk amongst you may be interested to know that the author Elizabeth Goudge once lived here.

I've used this thread for this photo as it's one of only three buildings that I can think of within the county of Pembrokeshire that suggest any influence of "Art Deco". Given that it's in a tiny hamlet, Little Newcastle, slap bang in the middle of a very rural area makes it pretty unique.
It was obviously the local petrol station and garage with just the one pump in evidence. I'm not sure who owns it but it's been kept in very good condition over the years since the garage closed.
