Well since noone has started a thread on this year's Gypsy Fair I will.
I hope some other members also attended and can perhaps add to the pictures ...

It was wet most of the day, there are raindrops in the full-size picture.

Lots of knick-knacks for sale including Carriage Lamps.

    Kettles, pans, pots & cauldrons.

Not a stampede, but lots and lots of ponies all trotting up the lane together.

    "No questions asked"

    "Almost everything..."

All with Lumix G1 sporting my own converted yashinon 45mm at F2 mostly.

Thanks for sharing. I didn't go but got caught in the (very) slow traffic due to the horse driven Gypsy caravans. :(

    Great Gypsy fairs

Great images and these events are well worth a visit.

I went to the Gypsy Horse Fair held in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire last year and the people were fun, friendly and willing to be photographed.

I did not take my GF1 - sorry, but thought I would post a link to my images for interested parties - the fair follows the winter images:

Hope I don't get told off for posting a link to non GF1 shots - if I do, here is a link to some of my GF1 images:
