At the moment I'm waiting for a Voigtlander Nokton 35mm SC f 1.4. It just passed the customs so I hope to have it in 2-3 days

I finally decided to go for this 35mm for my M2. Naturally I´m gonna use it on my E-P1 as well.

Also waiting on a cheap non-original leather bag thats made for E-P1 with the 17mm on. Bought this from China via E-bay. 16$.. At least it looks okay on the picttures...

Anyone else waiting on the mail?

not got the 105 f2.5

but I have now got the ability to use a few NAI Nikkors on digital which was not possible on my D300 - (and in the UK it costs about US$100 to have them converted).
I still have a big "old" Nikkor Q 135mm f2.8 and a nice Nikkor - O C 35mm f2

I would love to try a classic 300mm f2.8 MF lens on the x2 crop - looking for one on EBay, (never could afford a new one)

Bill, That's all good stuff. I always loved the way Nikon Glass recorded.
The 105 would be close to the 200f4.
The compression of the 200 was wonderful....

I sold my D300 cause I felt to limited and my buddy has both of the 5d's.....
I'm happy with the Pen 1 and G1.
Later....Don

Will do that sir!

BTW, have you sold your R-D1s? Been reading good things about it. How do you feel the E-P1 holds up against it?

Congrats Vidar!

My mail arrived last night...I think I'll concentrate on using it and hopefully come up with something worth looking at...and start learning how this E-P2 works. Ended up going for the gold with the Panasonic 20mm 1.7 and got the body with the zoom. Haven't tried the zoom yet.

Vidar let us know about the case when you get it! I ordered one also but from a link that Brian put up the other day.

Enjoy your days or evenings!

Thanks, same to you

20 1,7? Congrats! Haven´t heard a bad word about that lens.

Will post a photo of the cheap case when it arrives all the way from China.

No more lenses for me now, I am ready for the spring:thumbup:

(Damn, I want the 20 1.7 too :mad::biggrin:)

Well, Vidar I think you must have quite a few lenses... I first got the E-P2 w/the 17mm...then there was the annoying snafu with Amazon as an affiliate, hence my detailed "How To" post on the Affiliates thread: https://www.mu-43.com/showthread.php?t=460 when that happened I decided to make things right and while doing so went for what I'd really wanted - the coveted Panasonic 20mm 1.7, so I reordered the camera with the zoom and the Panny.

Until something wide and fast comes out, that's it for me. Well, except for some protective filters...and maybe a flash extension cable...and maybe some software...

Agreed, all of us who live in the northern regions are ready for spring!
