Not sure why it's OFF from the factory, sure is nice to have the display change to reflect your settings (aperture, speed, etc).

Looks like ISO changes only show when you are in Manual mode

I do on the GH2. But the GH2 doesn't seem to get the exposure and WB preview correctly. The LCD/EVF tend to be brighter, and under indoor tungsten lighting, the photo itself looks more yellow than during the constant preview. Annoys me.

When using Aperture priority the screen will go lighter or darken when you use exposure compensation, is that what is meant ?

    Yeah, sorry, GH2

In manual it seems aperture, speed and iso changes the EVF and lcd.

Just tried it outside and you are correct, it doesn't get it right all the time.

Too bad, could have been very useful.

Maybe a firmware fix will resolve that.

The EVF/LCD of the Sony A55 was very accurate in giving me What You See Is What You Get. Same thing with the EVF/LCD for the Oly EP2.

Let's hope so, kinda silly to have it there not working right.

I don't recall any problems with it on the GH2. It's a wonderful exposure aid...

Is constant preview available on the G3? I can't find it.

The EVF on the G3 does change with exposure compensation in P, A, and S modes. The EVF does not seem to show me the changes when in Manual mode. Is there a setting for this?

I use it all the time on my GH2 also. What I also did, though is once I calibrated my computer monitor, I try to match the color and brightness of my monitor to the GH2's LCD. Seems to get a more accurate look, especially since the uncalibrated GH2 LCD was brighter than my actual picture and a tad more red.

I assume that it is deactivated in Manual in the same way that the histogram does not show final exposure in Manual mode.
