I use the Viltrox JY-43f on my G2 and it's simply a 're-badged' Fotodiox Pro adapter which mimics the MMF-1.

I haven't used an MMF-3 nor an E-M1 so I can't help you out on that score. It works fine with my 14-45mm 4/3rds lens.

m4/3-to-4/3 adapters have no impact on AF speed (unless they're defective). It doesn't do any processing - it just forwards the signals back and forth between the lens and the body. The differences are in build material, weather-sealing, and price.

As far a quality goes, the cheaper units like the Fotasy or Rainbow Imaging are more of a crap shoot. I have the Fotasy unit and sometimes it feels loose or sloppy but sometimes it's tight and secure. I don't know why. I bought a Panasonic DMW MA1 and it's very nice. It fits the lens and camera better..
