Anyone shooting with Nikon 50 1.8?

I am brand new to M4/3, coming from the Nikon DSLR world. I have only 3 lenses with aperture ring and the two 2.8 zooms are the reason I'm getting away from my DSLR (weight and size).

However, my 50 1.8 is pretty small and I figure it would make a nice portrait lens (although a little long at 100mm equivalent) and would need to be manually focused. I have ordered an adapter on ebay to try this lens out with my Lumix G5.

Does anyone have an experience/advice using this lens?

I've shot extensively with a Nikon 50mm 1.8 AIS. It's almost as good as the Oly 45mm 1.8, at a fraction of the price.

Here's a couple samples, (hope you don't mind pictures of my daughter):

Thanks Jonathan, your pictures are great, with a nice shallow DOF/bokeh. I have the AF version but I imagine the IQ is the same as yours. I'm excited to get the adapter.

IQ should be about the same. I think the lens design is the same through the latter Nikon 50mm 1.8 lenses. Stopping down to f/2 gives it a bit more bite. Definitely sharper at 1.8 than the 50mm 1.4 wide open.
