It was pretty neat. Got there a little early, there was an ice-sculpture competition, and took some pictures of downtown:
fortuitous mis-setting of white balance:
a little moire in the building?
and the gardens:
the exhibit. Images are displayed on light panels - kinda like an xray at the doctor:
60 second exposure. Kinda upset about the lanterns being blown out - thought I had metered off them. Shows the benefit of being able to blur out pedestrians though!
Here's the one with the lanterns better exposed ... might be time to try some HDR
