Anyone else notice the UI is slower when VF-2 is attached?

Did some more shooting today in Las Vegas where I was attending the CES.

Since I was outside, bright, and I needed to conserve battery (and it was friggin cold), I used the VF-2 on my E-PM2.

I then noticed that the controls (4-way), direct 'dialed' like ISO, or drive mode, or exposure/aperture (I shoot in A mostly), were really slow to respond, like the camera was too taxed.

I don't remember this before, so I think maybe the VF-2 presence is like a computer driving multiple displays...it uses more CPU power and thus the UI is slower.

Am I crazy or did anyone else notice that the settings are harder to set because there is greater button lag with the VF-2 (or VF-3)?

I have never noticed that : and I certainly would NOT use the VF-2 if my aim was to conserve battery power! Like ... why?
Heck there were even plenty of posts suggesting the cameras ate more battery when using the EVF than when not ... back in the days when they were new.
