I am sick of removing the sdhc card every time i want to transfer my photo`s to my notebook , I dont use the usb cable as it is an non-standard fit and i just dont want to use it.

I am looking at the eye-fi x2 pro, for the raw support

Do they work with the G2, they are not mentioned in the user manual, most camera`s have a setting to enable/disable the function, but i cannot find anything in the G2 menu`s

    How long to transfers take?

According to the eye-fi website the G2 is compatible

    Thanks for any help

    G3, but not G2

I have the X2 Explore and have used it with the G3. I can offer the following comments:
    1. Very easy setup
    2. Works fine with JPG, though I have not tried it with RAW.
    3. Speed is OK, but range is somewhat limited. Definitely not as good as my laptops WiFi.
    4. This version is suppose to be able to transfer via your smart phone. Only tried it one time and it would not work. I'm sure that was my fault - and I didn't devote too much time to it.
5 Look on line, prices are heavily discounted. This one retails for $99, found it for $64

I use one, and it works well with jpegs.

If you try to transfer raw it can take a really long time...
