I am just a newbie that really into shooting. And doing self study at home for very basic skills like the what are exposure, shutter and aperture. I would like to do little advance stuff like shooting products, models or fashion. Any ideas of what to do next? Will photography school teaching what I need?

    thanks in advance!

Santa Monica College has a couple courses, but you're probably better off practicing everyday and learning off the internet.

If you are serious about learning photography for a career then check out the Art Center in Pasadena or Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara.

I graduated from Brooks in 1977 and had a 30 year career as an advertising photographer (commercial). Expect it to be thorough and difficult with some stiff competition from the fellow students -- but you will learn from them too.
When you graduate you will know photography.
