Wrote a cam compnay on ebay to find out about a lens. They said the Panasonic Leica 25mm f/1.4 may fit the Oly, but there have been some compatibility issues.

What sort of compatibility problems crop up?

    I have an EPM-1

No issues, it will fit/work fine.

Make sure you're getting the micro version of the lens and not the standard 4/3, which would require an adapter.

Have to be careful, that would suck. I don't like adapters.

The Panasonic Leica 25/1.4 for m43 has been known to be noisy on Olympus bodies. If you look up "rattlesnake" you should find a number of threads that refer to it.

Used it on my E-P3 last week; definitely a chatterbox! Will hopefully be quieter on the G-5...;-)

Using the Panasonic 14, 20, 25, and 7-14 on an Olympus body (OM-D) with no problems. Minimum chatter from the aperture leaves, primarily in sunny outdoor conditions. Optically and communication-wise with the camera, no problem.

Using the Panasonic 20 on an Olympus body (epl-3) with no problems.

I have both 25/1.4 and 45/2.8 PanaLeicas. No problems at all. I haven't had any noise with either lens. These two lenses are outstanding on the OM-D. Highly recommend both lenses without hesitation.

I'm using a Panasonic 20mm and 14-45 on my E-PM1 with no issues whatsoever!

I do not have issues with PL25 chatter issues (A mode) on my OM-D; however, it happened all the time on my E-P3 (as I would expect it to happen on the OP's E-PM1). Not necessarily a deal breaker, but it can be annoying.
