Any idea what's happened here?

Recently I've had a couple of images like this on separate occasions. Thankfully it is only occasional and is one out of several thousand images taken. It must be hardware related but any idea what's causing it?

Ken, it looks like a corrupted JPEG to me.

The most frequent cause of these is a damaged SD card.

Agree with @John King. Try a reformat but if that doesn’t work a new SD card is in order.

Use SDFormatter software. Do a long format.
