While I was working in Boston a few months ago I got a chance to visit NY for the first time (here). I've been back in Boston for work these past couple of months, and got a chance to visit NY once again this past Memorial Day weekend. During my last visit I mainly used the two Olympus Pro zooms for their versatility, so this time around I decided to use just primes (O25 Pro/PL42.5/O75). All shots are handheld. PL42.5 at 1/320s f5 iso100 O25 Pro at 1/5s f1.2 iso200 Panoramic off the back of the East River Ferry (IBIS works wonders!) w/ O25 Pro at 1/15s f/1.2 iso1250 O75 at 1/800s f4 iso200 Panoramic w/ O75 at 1/6400s f3.2 iso200 O25 Pro at 1/1250s f1.2 iso200 Of course I had to run into B&H and mess around with some gear. I've been contemplating picking up the PL12 f1.4 so of course I had to take a test shot with one. Shot taken at 1/60s f1.4 iso200. Focus was on the back of the girl's head in front of me several feet away. I wanted to see if shallow DoF was still obtainable several feet from a subject. I must say, this is a very impressive lens!
