Short visit to town today. Harsh mid-afternoon sunlight. Walking back to the car parked along the avenue were couple vintage sports cars. Packing the GF-1 with the 20mm. Took a handheld burst of 3 shots. Exposure issues, alignment were handled nicely by NIK HDR. Without HDR either the grill logos would have been heavily shadowed or the chrome & glare blown out.

Really nice work!

I just started playing with Nik HDR myself. Did you use 3 images? What was the spread on exposure? Any pointers would be much appreciated.

For this subject I set the G2/GF-1 to auto-bracket 3 images. I think the car photos were 2/3ev steps.

HDR is an interesting processing tool. Sometimes I just like playing around pushing the images towards what I consider a bit on the extreme side. All but one final image has ended up in the trash can. Personal preference is just using it as another processing tool to deal with some exposure issues.
