Olympus E-PL3 with 17/2.8 prime lens is going to be in a lightning deal on Amazon in a little over 8hrs (12:30 PST Dec 9th). Current regular price is $499, amazon's lowest was $449 a few weeks ago.

Probably not as interesting as that 30% Staples deal on a more expensive camera, but worth checking out.

    The deal is $399.

    Dec 10th Lightning Deal E-P3 @ 12:30 PST

Same time today (12:30 PST), now the E-P3 with 17mm f/2.8 in silver or white gets a deal.

Regular price for the silver E-P3+17 is at an all time low of $579 (black is $549), while the white is $649. They're closing out on E-P3, the black isn't included because they only have 4 units left and they don't have anymore E-P3 14-42 kits. We'll see what the deal is...

Needs to have quite the price drop to be interesting vs an E-PL5, or even a GX1 at a lower price.

Or even a G3. At $299, it's hard to see anything beating it this month for the best bang for your buck.

What is the Staples 30% coupon, and how do you get it?

I'll be watching but $399 won't be enough to move me on the E-P3 and 17/2.8. $299... maybe.

It's at $499, so much for a lightning deal.

Yup... I agree. Plus, it's 100% claimed already. I'll wait for the E-P3 replacement to come out... or a deal on the E-PM2 or E-PL5.

It was on last weekend, some people got it matched at BestBuy and got E-M5 kits and other cameras for 30% off.

Yeah, not much of a deal.

The new G5 with kit lens for $499 at Amazon is a great deal.
