So I'm a little disappointed in Flickr lately and I was wondering if anyone has a different image hosting/organizing site they prefer. I'd love to hear your recommendations.

I like photobucket, especially for sharing to forums.

I use picassaweb and find it meets my needs just fine.
  6. How does one suddenly become disappointed in an image hosting site? I don't think that flickr has changed anything for the worse recently.

I'm a big SmugMug fan. It's not free, but they're a smallish company and have a really friendly vibe.

another vote for smugmug, but it really depends on what your goal is. flickr is a different beast and 500px seems like the more logical comparison. But I find it overpriced.

what about flickr has you disappointed?

This probably sounds crazy, but I hate the name "Smugmug" so much that I could never use them!

I've never thought about using any other image-sharing site, but I am wondering if you are on Flickr, if there is any way of migrating your photos? It could be a massive manual operation otherwise and that might be something to consider.

I have been using Flickr for several years now and prefer it for the " social/groups" aspect. I have Photobucket and Shutterfly accounts too but don't use them much these days. As others have said-it depends on what you want out of the site....

Smugmug! Love it. I have their pro account which is pricey but gives a lot of customization options. It is also easy to embed/share photos from smugmug.
I also like how they have recently partnered up with WHCC which is a pro photo printing service which is my favorite place to have quality prints done.
