Along the Mississippi

    Yesterday we took a walk in a park along the Mississippi River in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I took a couple of pictures (GF1, 14-140 zoom) of these young women seeming to explore what the winter might have left behind in the river.

    The roots of the cottonwood tree are truly impressive.

    This photo amuses me because it's such a "rule of thirds" cliché.
