So I decided to sell my Full Frame Nikon D700 and the last of my Nikkors.

I've always wanted a Nikon 70-200/2.8 but found it too big and knew I wouldn't use it much.
But with the Olympus 40-150 pro I could get a much smaller lens and longer reach
So the money for the Nikon sales went into the 40-150 + 1.4 TC kit.

This is exactly 3 years after I got my first Oly cam (E-PL3) I bought for vacation use.
But I quickly loved the size and quality and during these 3 years the Nikkors got replaced with M4/3 lenses

The great thing about M4/3rds is you can get pro grade weatherproofed body and lenses in a "relative" small packages. Plus you can use all the great small primes if you want to go very light

I'm looking forward to give the 40-150 some use for a indoor sports event this weekend.

    The "big" kit

Great illustration of both the range and ability of this system.

That's a fine setup! Your post could be an ad for the merits of the system.

I'd be interested in your comments of the 40-150 lens flare with the hood retracted vs. the hood extended after shooting both indoors under artificial light and outdoors under various conditions.
