A few photos from our recent visit to Alaska.
These were all taken with a GH3 and various lenses. These are all I have finished out of around 1500+ images.
did you went to kodiak island?
No, we did the inside passage cruise with stops in Ketchikan, Juneau, Sawyer Glacier, Skagway and Victoria, BC. Not too much wildlife was seen compared to our last trip to Alaska, but the scenery was spectacular and the weather pleasant.
Great shots, that block of ice looks like a face mask.
Some very nice pictures!
I thought the same about the face in the ice.
#1 made me stop and have a good look to work out what it was... well done!
A nice thought out set. Well done.
Thanks all! Will be posting more as I finish PP. The ice face had to be at least 20 feet long. What attracted my attention to it was the loud gurgle the wake of the ship made as it splashed under the edge of the ice. It pretty much astounded me when I first saw the face.
More Alaska photos from our trip on the WP&Y RR.
