I was pretty bored today so I decided to take a trip to the Air and Space Museum which is just down the street from where I live.

    I used my Panasonic GH2 + Lensbaby Tilt Transformer + Nikkor 28mm f/2.8

Wait, are these shots of the actual museum or of a model of it?

Those are stunners - I love how tilt does this to photos, it can be done at the software stage but this is more fun

Is the lensbaby transformer :43: native? and if so where did you get it from?

Those are excellent shots! I love how this perspective makes the people and planes look like models or toys ...

    Well done!

That's the Elzy Center at Dulles airport. My best friend lives in Leesburg, and I grew up in Falls Church. I'll bet the Natural History Museum in DC would make a good subject for the Diorama mode too! I'm going this weekend for a visit but I don't think we'll have time to hit the museum. Very nice shots though!

How does the tilt/shift make it look like a model like that?

Those are just fantastic examples of that effect! It never fails to blow me away. No matter how much I try to rationalize that the subject is full size, my brain just refuses to agree! Very cool.

awesome tilt shift. that technique always looks better when done in camera rather than with photoshop.

I really thought those were models until I read and looked further, and it's only by looking at the completely varied people that I can be convinced that it's full size scenes.
