I decided the other night after getting off work that I would go out and try something different since the weather was very nice. I am not much of a "street" photographer but I have always admired it, so I figured I would give it a shot. I went down to a local shop area that I visit often during the day and wondered around for about a hour and half. I restricted myself to only shoot in b/w to make things alittle different(plus that area is all yellow light and I cant stand yellow light  ) I was very surprised how different everything looks when at night in b/w. it gave me a totally new view of a very common area. I highly recommend anyone who has never tried it to do so.

All these where shot handheld with the G5 and sigma 19mm,

Thanks for confirming. I used hang out at Tewligan's in the Early 90's when I had hair and knees that worked. Some great evenings were had in the Highlands...... if only I could remember them.

Glad the area had retained some character and your pics capture that.

That's awesome! It nice to have someone recognize where images were taken with out having to say anything.

Thank you for the comment. :)
