After having a couple rounds of printer driver problems requiring a fix from our company's IS staff, I was granted admin privileges today on my desktop computer at work.

For a geek like me, it was painful not to be an admin. I like this much better!

Ah, freedom :dance3:

What sort of work you do? They must run a tight ship. I've had admin privelages on my work PC from day one. I couldn't do what I need to do if I didn't.

I'm a physician in a fairly large university hospital. My previous job as a physician was at a much larger university hospital, where there was never any question about my being an admin on my computer, but I guess my new employer runs a tighter ship, as you say.

Anyway, here's to freedom :drinks:.
