A couple more fitting /adaptor queries - Thanks.

Lens 4 - Optomax 2.8 135mm Prime (Not sure about using this one as it has some fungus and on the inside between the lenses the black coating is pitted and worn away with a lot of silver showing through so any thoughts / advice on that would be appreciated as well)

    SAM_3399. SAM_3402. SAM_3396. SAM_3393. SAM_3405.

    Lens 5 - Tamron Adaptall

    SAM_3423. SAM_3420. SAM_3417.

Random Bits - Came as part of the purchase. What are they? Any use? Any value?

#1 - no way to tell for certain from the pix, though it is likely "CS" mount (see my links in your other post and compare measurements of the mount to the table of specs)

    #2 - M42

The second one is a 2X converter. You put a lens with the right mount on the front. It doubles the focal length, and halves the aperture, which is why they put the scale on the bottom. Easy enough to divide by 2, but they needed more work for the engravers in those days.

See if the first one screws into the converter.

Both have screw thread mounts. Check it with a calipers or lay a ruler across the end. M42 is nominally 42mm. There are also 39mm and 37mm mounts.

When you're all done, maybe you want to try them out once last time and then pitch them.
