Hi , bought a Konica 50mm lens, and tried in in M Mode on my G5.
I use the scroll wheel to find the correct shutterspeed .

However , per accident i used this lens in A Mode , and it seems to work correct , camera selects ISO and shutterspreed , i only have to focus manually.
Much easier than in M mode !
Is this normal that i can use ADAPTED LENS in A Mode (and S mode) ??

That's quite normal for A mode as that is how it works, you select the aperture and the camera sets the appropriate speed. It will not work in S mode as the camera has no way of communicating with the lens.

A mode is how I usually use my legacy glass. Although M is nice too. A is just more convenient and faster for me.

    ok thx.
quite a nice experience, i am having a blast with the very thin DOF that this f1.4 lens creates.
