@Snowonuluru's images are so subtle and lovely, following them with this is a little like following Brahms with John Philip Sousa, but... (cross posted from the showcase for the Nikkor 200)

Our neighbouring farmer was ploughing his field yesterday and was surrounded by gulls.
I brought out my OM Zuiko 200mm f4 lens, as I'd never used it before and captured this one. I'm blaming the haze on Saharan Dust, which has been reported on the TV as the culprit for the hazy conditions and the red deposits on our cars.

Later in the day when he was halfway through, I thought to capture the scene with my OM Zuiko 50mm f 3.5 macro lens.

And finally, just as he finished I attached my OM Zuiko 24mm f2.8 to give the full picture (though I cropped out a bit of window frame from the top of the image).

Will do. I’ve been using a Tamron 28-300 macro lens. I’ll see if I can find a model number.

Ok... I actually have the paperwork that came with the lens. Tamron 28-300 macro. Model 185D. Anything I’ve posted here recently was with this lens. This too.

Nice shot but this must be wide open (f/2) because bokeh balls get clear hexagonal shape immediately when Helios is stepped down. Then again, Helios 44 is a lens you'll never need to step down because the whole point of this lens is the swirly bokeh it deliveres wide open. Unfortuntely swirl proper forms only near the edges of full FF image circle which of course falls outside MFT sensor area.

Nicely done. I just watched a video about flipping the front lens yesterday and it made me want to buy the lens :). Guess I can try it with a few other lenses.
It was super easy to do on a Helios 44-2, and since I only paid $25 for the lens, I wasn't too concerned if I messed things up. I also have another Helios 44-2 in much nicer condition that I use as is.
