Picked up a Minolta 50 f/1.2 the other day, and the adapter arrived. My other adapter is stuck to the Minolta 58 f/1.7 - never mind, that's quite handy really. Cross posted in the beer thread. This was taken at f/4. I need to sort out focus peaking as I am pathetic at focusing by eye!

Just realised (22 Jan 2021) that the lens is f/2 not 1.2!

I am SO staying away from the Rokkor 1.2s. They're just plain gorgeous, and that fact alone puts my wallet in danger.
I was lucky - got it with a Minolta film camera, and a Tamron something or other, which I likely won't bother about :). Only got the one shot so far - looking forward to seeing bokeh etc :). $100 for the film camera and Minolta and a Tamron longer lens, which I probably will try, but not really use.

It's not f/1.2 but f/2! LOL my wishful thinking .... but still makes some nice bokeh wide open.

First outing with the Nikon 70-300 zoom on the GX 85. It’s going to likely be interesting, frustrating, and fun.

Another beer with the Minolta 50mm f/2 at f/2. Focus peaking didn't seem to work this time, so a bit uncertain about whether I've nailed it. Love the bokeh ......

The Minolta 50 f2 at f2 again on Olympus M1 Mk11. the focus peaking worked - seems I need to hold the button while I shoot.

Some lockdown photography with my Helios 44-2 58mm @f2. Looking at all the spots in the bokeh balls I think something needs a clean.
