question to frequent posters:

I have a few photos taken with adapted lenses but also suitable for threads like “show: cats” and “show: birds”.
Double posting is a no-no in my book but I really feel they also have a place here on this thread.
Should I post them on the other thread and have links towards the other threads here too? Or vice versa? :hmmm:

Hi, I have seen many "cross-posted" pics, and have not seen anyone say a bad thing about that over the 3 years I've been visiting this forum. Post them pics!

I agree, "cross-posting" is fine by me.
I think many a fine pic is lost by posting in a seldom-visited thread where it is not seen at all, or in a popular thread where it is soon buried by new postings.

E-M5 + Industar 55mm f2.8 M39 mount
This lens is a bit soft and low contrast, but being M39 mount, is very compact when adapted to M43. Pic here has been enhanced a little.

I've occasionally cross-posted and provided links, though mostly between the Show your adapted lens... and that lenses showcase thread. I think as long as you don't constantly flood forums no one minds.

Sometimes it gets a little hard to focus on such a lens, and colors get a bit muted and need some fine-tuning on Luminar or Lightroom, but besides that, the outcome is really dreamy and astonishing.

Russian projector lens 16KP 1.2/50mm on a OM-D E-M10 Mark II.
